In summer, its fragrance drifted through the open windows, mingling with the warmth of old rooms and the soft evening air.

No. 18, Ellenville was my grandfather’s house. This fragrance takes its name from that place, and from the roses that grew there.

A delicate rose, fresh from the garden, softened by the warmth of the house beyond. Floral, but never overly sweet. Familiar, yet difficult to place. A scent that feels less like perfume and more like a memory returning.
